Entrepreneurs Receive Rotary SME Awards

Scores of entrepreneurs, from across the country, who have excelled in different sectors received the RBSE National SME Awards for Excellence in Bangalore recently. The awards were given in various categories such as Corporate Governance, CSR, IT/ICT, Innovation and R&D, Exports, and Quality. Dedicated awards to women entrepreneurs were also given. The awards were instituted by the Rotary Club of Bangalore South East. “We are enthused by the response of the entrepreneurs from all over India and we have decided to make it an annual affair. SMEs play an important role in the development of our economy and we must give them a moral support to work with renewed vigour,” announced the Club President Prof. (Dr.) Aswath M.U.

Tie-Aspire Awards for Three Trailblazers

Celebrating the spirit of art, culture and sportsmanship, the New Delhi-NCR chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs and Aspire, gave away the 4th TiE-Aspire Young Achiever Awards to three trailblazers. India's largest e-commerce brand, Flipkart.com, joined hands to support these achievers and presented E-Gift vouchers worth Rs 1 Lac each to the three awardees.
