The Bhopal mass slaughter was really a battle of hazardous industry owned by a Multi-National Corporation of U.S testing against Indian Lives against humanity not white humanity of the West but of brown thousands of Third. The worst industrial disaster in recorded human history occurred on the 2nd of December, 1984. On account of the deleterious operation resulting in a culpable gas leak converting Bhopal City into a graveyard. Terrorism is a crime and the President of the USA and the white world and the Prime Minister of brown India shout hoarse against terrorism by the Talibans Maoists and the naxalites.

However, against the carnage caused by an American mafia in a backward region of India slaughtering over 20,000 people it took 25 years to produce judgment in a crime committed by a powerful dollar criminal. Yes. We are a dollar colony and gasassination which is a multiplication of assassination by gas manufacturing experimental process is a minor crime with small punishment maximum sentence of two years RI while a baby born unwanted but buried by the mother is punishable with death sentence. This is Macaulay’s justice of Victorian vintage still ruling Mahatma India. Why? Our Parliament and our Executive are less concerned with lives of ‘We, the People of India’ that their deprivation is of little consequence. Alas, our judiciary is another paradigm of insouciance and indifferent to the fundamental duty of swift verdict and of compassion to all living creatures.

This is constitutional phoney platitude in print. But the Parliament is too busy making noises not making law to defend civilized Bharat’s citizen life. 25 years is unpardonable delay for an ordinary crime and atrocious for a mass blitz causing thousands of innocent lives. Not over yet, but continuing its lethal consequences on surviving Bhopalis. Gaassination by an American company is perhaps a minor crime in India and they thought the Indian courts take a long time and so the case should be tried in America.

A Chief Justice of India traveled risking his life to the USA to give evidence that Indian courts are slow, negligent and cause satanic delay and so a Yankee court gives Indians justice fairer and quicker. The District Court of USA which was moved in this behalf had more respect for Indian justice system and rejected even the Chief Justice of India’s views and told the parties go back to India. The Indian court will do justice. Yes. If proper judges were appointed and fair procedures made, if sensitive and sensible laws were enacted and the Executive has the independence, alacrity and integrity our socialist democracy and the despair of the common people about administration would have been different.

Now absent unpolluted food access to hospitals with a poor purse, free unpolluted water and air or shelter most people feel they must anyway die and prefer to avenge themselves by joining the Maoists and die which is spiritually satisfying death better than languishing miserably sans human rights and well-being. There is a case for Maoists after all. Mao is for change for humanism and open dialogue as statesman Chidambaram has offered. Have the mad Maoists the sense to tell straight their harrowing lot, starving and suffering and violating the constitutional right to life by a Government which preaches socialism and democracy? The contradiction must go. We have enough human resources to redeem the pledge of the half-naked fakir the Father of the Nation whose ambition was according to the tryst with destiny we made on gaining freedom that to wipe every tear from every eye was a trust of Indian sovereignty but ludicrously violated in Bhopal and Bharat.
