Anais Nin, the famous French author, once said, “Dreams pass into the reality of action. From the actions stems the dream again; and this interdependence produces the highest form of living.”

This completely describes how Ravinder Singh Saggu chose to live his life. He dreamt big and with his hard work, made it a reality today.

He created his own circumstances instead of being just a prey to them.

He molded his life the way he wanted; everything changed except one he still dreams, and works towards achieving them.

Ravinder Singh Saggu owns a small manufacturing unit 'Saggu Engineering Corporation' in an industrial hub in Ghaziabad engaged in the manufacturing of quality spare-parts for various industries and specializes in making all kind of Gears, Spur, Helical Worm, Gear Coupling, Die and Jigs, Precision CNC turning etc.

Small Steps Lead to Big Success

1. 1976

• At 26, with an investment of Rs. 5000/-, he started his unit under the name 'Saggu Engineering Corporation'.

• His work place was a rented shop of 250 sq. ft. area, with one lathe machine.

• He worked alone for 16 hours a day regularly with no workforce to help.

2. 1981

• He bought one key slaughter machine and hired a worker to help.

3. 1982

• He shifted to another work place of 500 sq. ft. area on rent.

• Bought a milling machine and hired another worker.

4. 1988

• He purchased his own house.

• He stayed on the 1st floor of his house and started another workshop on the ground floor by installing a cylindrical Grinding Machine and a teeth cutting machine.(this was until he bought his own land for the factory)

5. 1995

• Meanwhile his two sons, Sardar Tarsem Singh and Sardar Jaswant Singh were groomed to join him after completing their graduation.

• He worked day and night and made spare-parts for various industries like naval, sugar mills, machine building, etc.

6. 2000

• He purchased his own land of 2800 sq ft area for the factory.

7. 2001

• He installed two CNC Machines in his factory.

8. 2008

• Over a period of time, he with his sons added 15 more different types' tool room machines like gear shapers, hobbing machines, milling machines etc.

9. 2009

• His assets alone have a worth of Rs. 5 crore.

• Even today, he works himself and continues to climb the ladder of success.
