SMEs do not have the resources for or access to business research and analysis, like big multinationals do, to gain insights on business development opportunities. No doubt, SMEs with good business insights prepare themselves for doing business in tough economic environments. Some of them know very well that to strengthen the business with Global buyers there is a great need for the SME brands. With the advent of the new economic era, the market environment has changed significantly, the brand has become an important tool for companies dominate the market – be it local, regional, national or international market.
Importance of Branding
In the economic globalization, to compete on a global scale to survive, SMEs must focus on a strategic perspective on the brand strategy, brand building needs. Brand management is a systematic process involving the management activities, with both the science and the art. Often, the problems faced by SMEs in the business/market are answered by the branding strategy but onus to implement and maintain the continuity is of SME. From the brand positioning, brand quality, brand culture, brand personality building, brand public relations and extension, etc. SMEs must know how to implement brand strategies.

On the other hand, with the scientific and technological progress, rising levels of consumer demand, improvement of people's living standards, there is increasing importance of the brand as to increasing brand consumption is becoming more obvious, so business is not only conducive to the implementation of brand strategy to expand market share, but also to achieve more large economic benefits.
