E-Consulting Ideal for All India SMEs
Mar 2011
First generation of entrepreneur, a start up or an established SMB, can not ignore to get organized and plan for short term and long term. It is also not feasible now to do business with one's own money – savings and borrowed from family and friends, and has to look out for finance from banks to equity to public participation in due course. SMEs must know the important role they are playing in the growing Indian economy in terms of significant percentages of manufacturing throughput, exports, employment and GDP. Government like never before is announcing various policies and schemes time to time to help Indian SMEs for growth and for going global.
Tools for SMEs
Trade marking, ISO certification, SME Rating are all new tools of additional help SMEs receive for the businesses. Also, marketing assistance schemes, micro finance to large scale export and credit benefits exist today. It is found that most of the SME owners are not aware and as such they do not know how to get the best from it. Gone are the days when SME owner believed and carried out all business functions himself, under his sole discretion. Now, time has come to take help of experts in every field. Professionals always help and guide with their expertise and experience, making learning curve smaller, saves loss of time and money and allow SMBs to get spare for future business planning.

Of course, SMEs are widely spread across India, located not just in metros and big cities but deep inside India, miles away in industrial townships and special zones. You may also find some SME cluster in and around a village or small city and alike. Often, these places are too far. They find problem in sourcing labour, leave aside expert professionals, consultants and specialists in the field. It is practically impossible for these professionals to visit a client at his place due to logistics and other reasons. As a result, SMBs find no source of access to their expertise.
